Business of Ƶ rural energy workshop
On Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 28-29, the Ƶ Sustainable Energy Conference, in
partnership with the Ƶ Center for Energy and Power, is hosting a free two-day virtual workshop focused on energy project development
and operational sustainability in rural Ƶ.
Stand-alone power systems and fuel storage facilities in nearly 200 remote communities in Ƶ face escalating burdens from aging equipment, limited resources and shrinking funding.
The workshop, “The business of Ƶ rural energy: Project development and operational sustainability,” will explore solutions to close the ever-widening gap between community needs and available resources, aiming to ensure safe and reliable energy delivery and strengthen local and regional capacity to support long-term community energy security.
This workshop is part of the Continuing Conversations series to be held between now and the 2026 Ƶ Sustainable Energy Conference.
