Webinar on microgrid operations
The webinar on Sept. 24 will feature a presentation by experts from the University of Fairbanks Ƶ Center for Energy and Power titled, “Controls and SCADA best practices for microgrid operations.”
Presenters will break down what reliable day-to-day microgrid operation looks like, focusing on how to use controls and real-time monitoring systems effectively. They will highlight the practices that make the biggest difference — reducing unnecessary trips, managing equipment cycling and handling variable generation — and walk through what to watch for so issues are caught early. Attendees will come away with practical habits and tools to keep their microgrid performing at its best.
The six-part C-MAP webinar series offers practical guidance on several stages of microgrid planning and performance, providing communities with the tools to advance microgrid projects that strengthen local energy systems and support future growth.
