Arctic Energy Precursor Set for Sunday
Webcenter 11 online: “Delegates from around the world will be flying in to Fairbanks this weekend as researchers from the University of ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Fairbanks kick off a lead-in event to the 2015 Arctic Energy Summit that starts Monday.
The ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Center for Energy and Power and the Institute of the North will host an event Sunday from 5 to 8 PM at the Blue Loon featuring ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ researchers and guest speaker U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski. The presentation will highlight how ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ and ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ contribute to the challenges the Arctic currently faces today.
ACEP Director Gwen Holdmann says it will be an excellent opportunity for the local community to network with people studying across the arctic.â€
