Biography

Daniel M. White
ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Chancellor
Daniel M. White has served as University of ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Fairbanks chancellor since July 2017. He previously served as University of ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ vice president for academic affairs and research. He joined the faculty of the University of ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Fairbanks in 1995 as a professor of civil and environmental engineering. White has served in several positions at ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ, including director of the Institute of Northern Engineering, ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ associate vice chancellor for research and head of the Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialization and interim vice chancellor for research. He has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Colorado College, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Washington University and a doctorate in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
