Fact check: ANLC is not closing

A guest opinion in the Anchorage Daily News late last week prompted posts on social media saying that ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ was planning to close the ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Native Language Center. Both the guest's opinion and the social media posts were incorrect.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ is not planning to eliminate the ANLC, nor is it planning to eliminate ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Native language instruction or programs. The Anchorage Daily News has since added a correction to the guest opinion.
