Nina Hansen named attending veterinarian

After a nationwide search, ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ’s Dr. Cristina (Nina) Hansen has been appointed to the role of attending veterinarian. The AV is responsible for veterinary care and animal health, and plays an important role in compliance practices for animal research. Hansen will start this role on Sept. 7.
Hansen is currently an associate professor of Veterinary Medicine at the College of Natural Science and Mathematics. She earned her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2007, and her Ph.D. from ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ in 2015. Hansen will continue to serve CNSM in a part-time capacity as the newly appointed associate dean for the Department of Veterinary Medicine.
