ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ celebrating National Transfer Week
Join ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ’s Office of Admissions and the Transfer Credit team to take part in the national celebration of transfer students!
Transfer Credit is hosting a series of in-person and online events for ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ transfer students and the folks who support them. We’re getting current transfer students together to chat over free coffee and donuts, and then later in the week will be giving away ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ swag while students enjoy lemonade and cookies
Transfer Week is a country-wide initiative led by the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students to celebrate the transfer students who enrich campuses across the country with their experiences and knowledge as non-traditional students. We're excited to celebrate ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ's transfer students!
Virtual information sessions will also be offered for prospective transfer students, as well as for ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ faculty and staff who would like to learn more about how best to support transfer students as they adjust to life at ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ. More information can be found at www.uaf.edu/transferweek.
Transfer Week events for current ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ transfer students:
- Monday, Oct. 21 — Monday morning wake-up
8:30–10 a.m. in the Wood Center
To start the week off right, join us for free coffee and donuts for all of ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ's transfer students in the Wood Center. - Wednesday, Oct. 23 — Cookies, lemonade and swag
2–4 p.m. at the Wood Center
Refreshments in the Wood Center! To help with that mid-week slump, we'll have light refreshments and cookies for transfer students in the Wood Center.
