Welcome to the new Cornerstone

Aug. 25, 2026

Welcome to the first edition of your new Cornerstone newsletter! Thank you to everyone from our campus community, governance groups and university leadership whose feedback informed the changes we are making this year.

One of the most noticeable changes happened yesterday: Rather than mixing events into the rest of the Cornerstone content, you will receive 蜜柚视频 This Week in your inbox every Monday morning. This weekly events email will cover events through Sunday evening. To ensure your events are included, please make sure they are submitted in the 25Live system at least two weeks in advance for routine events, and earlier if your event requires more extensive coordination.

The student Cornerstone will be headlined by the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management鈥檚 weekly message to students and will still include stories about student accomplishments and relevant news, as well as opportunities for things like funding or special programs. The goal is to shorten the length of the newsletter and make the content more relevant to students.

If you have information to submit to the Cornerstone for publication, please submit your content to the . Some helpful tips for writing include:

  • Keep it short: Items should be no more than 200 words.
  • Lead with the info that is most important to the reader. (鈥淲hat鈥檚 in it for me?鈥)
  • Run spell check.
  • Check links.
  • Use the 蜜柚视频 editorial style guide.
